Congratulations to the following students for placing in the Patriot's Pen essay competition through the Savannah and Richmond Hill VFW posts, raking in over $500 in prize money! Aubrey Hester and Kate Kelsey won 1st place; JD Brown won 2nd place; and Saoirse Morgan and Isabella Falco won 3rd place. Kate Kelsey advanced to the district competition, taking home 3rd place in the district as well.

Help the RHMS PTSO raise some Dough!!! The RHMS PTSO will be selling Krispy Kreme Digital Dozen Gift Cards for $14 to help raise money to purchase the last sunshade umbrella needed for the outdoor area. The Krispy Kreme Digital Dozen gift cards will be sold from March 4th to March 26th and will then be emailed out to customers after April 8th. To redeem the card, your customer must click to activate and then the bar code and number for redemption will display. Then all your customers need to do is simply visit their favorite Krispy Kreme shop and show them the printed-out bar code or show them the bar code on any smartphone at the time of payment.**

Registration for 4-H camp opens February 23rd! Check out the awesome opportunities middle schoolers have this summer. You can find a registration form on the RHMS 4-H Club Site.

The 4-H Club will meet Tuesday the 13th from 3:30-4:30. We will be taking our club picture for the yearbook and learning about Georgia's wildlife. New members are welcome year round.

Attention all rising 9th graders who are interested in trying out for sideline and competitive cheer next year at RHHS. There is a tryout interest meeting February 22nd at 6pm in the RHHS East cafeteria. All those interested and their parents should plan to attend.
