The BCES Fall Dance is Friday. If you want your child to participate they need to bring $5 by Wednesday. All students will receive a drink and snack during the dance.

Mental Health Workshop
Richmond Hill High School is hosting a Mental Health Workshop on Monday, 11/18 from 5:30-7:30pm in the East Cafeteria at RHHS. This event is designed for parents, guardians, other caregivers, teachers, and community members!

We’ll kick off the event with a resource fair, showcasing several local mental health agencies and their support services. After that, school counselors and agencies will facilitate breakout sessions that educate participants on stress management, mindfulness, self-compassion, and resiliency through interactive activities that they can practice at home. Fifth graders are learning the art of weaving on a loom.





Students in Mr. Ward’s third grade class used popcorn to learn about adjectives. Students described the appearance, smell, and taste of the popcorn. 🍎🌽🍿





Students in Mrs. Greene’s and Mrs. Butler’s class have been learning about mixtures and solutions while completing a unit on matter.




Through PBIS students were able to purchase “lunch bunch” in our Redskin Rewards Store using their Dojo/ebucks.





Students in Ms. Allen’s class put their science skills to the test by sorting rocks and minerals by color, luster, and texture.





Pictures were sent home yesterday. Picture retakes have been moved to Thursday Nov. 7 due to the late arrival of pictures.

We are thrilled to announce that our CCRPI score increased 6.8 points from last year! Great things are happening at BCES!


Mrs. Greene’s little spiders practiced their folding and cutting skills then got stuck in a web.
