*Students approved for free or reduced meals may enjoy one free breakfast and lunch daily. Additional meals or snacks may be purchased at an additional cost. Students are only allowed to charge up to $20 and thereafter, will be provided with an alternate meal until the balance is paid in full. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to refer to our meal charge guidelines.
Payments: Parents may set up an account through School Café or download the School Café App to make direct, online payments. A convenience fee of $2.25 will be incurred per transaction. Automatic draft payments and account balance alerts can also be set up directly through School Café. To avoid convenience fees, parents are encouraged to pay by providing cash ($20 bills or less) or a check (no limits) directly to the cashier at the time of service. Checks should be made payable to Bryan County School Nutrition.
Applying for Meal Benefits : Parents can visit School Café to submit a meal benefit application. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete. If applying online is not an option, paper copies are available at your child’s school. Parents must return the original form (no copies). Parents should refer to the eligibility standards for free and reduced-price meals to determine if you qualify. If you are unsure, we encourage you to apply anyways! If you receive a Direct Certification letter in the mail, you automatically qualify and there is no need to submit an application.
