2024-2025 New Student Enrollment (August 1, 2024 - May 22, 2025)

**If your child was enrolled in Pre-K in Bryan County Schools for the 2023-2024 school year, you do not have to register for Kindergarten.

To help you prepare to use this new student registration process, below is the list of items you will be expected to upload through the online registration portal. Online is the easiest and preferred way to register new students, however, if you have issues, you may bring these items with you to register in person at the school.

To obtain enrollment in the Bryan County School District, students must reside in Bryan County with their natural parent(s), or court-approved legal guardian(s). Students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) must remain residents of the county for the entire period of enrollment in the School District or the Parent/Guardian and student must live with a Bryan County resident and will be required to fill out a Joint Residency Affidavit. This document is found within the online registration portal.

For enrollment purposes, a resident is defined as an individual who is a full-time occupant of a dwelling located within the county and who, on any given school day, is likely to be at their stated address when not at work or school. A person who owns property in the county, but does not reside in the county, is not considered a resident for these purposes.

Making false statements or submitting false documentation to Bryan County Schools and false swearing is a violation of O.C.G.A. §16-9-2, §16-10- 20 and/or §16-10-71 of the criminal laws of the State of Georgia and punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or by imprisonment for not less than one nor more than five years, or both. O.C.G.A. 16-10-71.

Process for Parents building a home in the district:
If a parent(s)/guardian(s) is in the process of purchasing/building a home in the Bryan County School district, proper paperwork must be provided to enroll. The parent must provide a sales contract and a sworn statement from the builder/realtor confirming that they will reside in the home within a 9-week period of school registration.   

Parents must understand that bus transportation will not be provided until the move is complete and all paperwork is provided. If the parent does not provide the documentation after the 9-week period, the school has the right to withdraw the student on the last day of the 9-week period. This is nonnegotiable.

~ The registration link will work on PC, Android, Chrome, and Apple platforms.

~ Smartphones work great, pictures can be uploaded through your phone.

~ The registration process can be completed in about 20-25 minutes.

Once the "Submit" button is clicked, information and documents cannot be changed. You must visit the school to make any changes or turn in any documents.

Original custody papers may be uploaded, however; they also need to be presented to the school in person.

~ Please allow up to 2 business days (during school year) for processing. The school will contact you if more information is needed.
*Registrars will return to the office July 10th and will begin processing registrations at that time. If you need to speak with a registrar, please contact the school after July 10th.
