Important Update: Cell Phone & Electronic Device Plan
As we begin a new school year, we want to reinforce expectations regarding the use of personal electronic devices at Bryan County Middle High School. Our goal is to foster a learning environment focused on student engagement and academic success, free from unnecessary distractions.
📱 Middle School Plan
Student devices are not permitted for use during the school day.
Phone Check-In for parent updates: 6th grade: 1:00 PM | 7th/8th grade: 12:55 PM
🔒 If a student uses a device outside this time: A parent/guardian must pick it up from the front office.
🎓 High School Plan
Personal electronic devices are not allowed during classroom instructional time.
📌 Consequences for violating these procedures are the same as the middle school plan.
We are committed to helping students use technology appropriately while supporting their academic and social development.

2025–2026 Credit Recovery Options for Middle School Students
A strong academic foundation is essential to every student’s success. To support students who may need additional help, Bryan County Middle School has established two credit recovery options for the 2025–2026 school year.
If a student does not pass an academic class with a final grade of 70 or higher, they will have two pathways to get back on track:
🔴 Option 1: Summer School Remediation - Students may attend summer school for credit recovery! Offered June 2026, Monday–Thursday.
⚫ Option 2: Fall Remediation Course - Students may enroll in a Remediation Connection Course during the first semester of the next school year (Fall 2026).
