During October, the VFW hosted an essay competition for middle school students on the topic "My Voice in America's Democracy." Submissions were required to be 450 words, and we’re proud to announce that Khalessia Robertson, a 7th grader at Bryan County Middle School, won the state competition! 🎉
Khalessia is now advancing to the national championship, representing our school and state on a big stage. This is an incredible achievement, and we’re so proud of her hard work and dedication.
