The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council participated in a taste test with our School Nutrition Program today during their final meeting of the year.
Students sampled some exciting new options, including sparkling juice drinks, cold brew coffee, and brookies (that’s a brownie + cookie combo!). Their feedback will help shape future menus and ensure our offerings are as tasty as they are nutritious.
Thank you to our School Nutrition team for leading this exciting opportunity—and to our student leaders for their input and enthusiasm!

A recent Georgia Tech study indicates that Coastal Georgia will need 41,000 new housing units by 2030, driven by rapid population growth and economic expansion, including the Hyundai Metaplant. Bryan County alone is projected to see a 40% increase in housing units, bringing thousands of new families to our community.
Planning for this growth now is essential to maintaining top-tier education while keeping fiscal responsibility in mind. Bryan County Schools is currently ranked 6th in the state out of 181 districts, and we are committed to preserving this high level of achievement for our students as we grow.
