New Bryan County High School

Bryan County Schools is planning for the future with the proposed opening of a new Bryan County High School in August 2029, as outlined in the ESPLOST & Bond ballot question for the May 19th election. If approved by voters, the new two-story school will be located off Payne Drive and designed to support students for generations to come.

The campus will feature modern classrooms along with expanded opportunities in academics, fine arts, career pathways, and athletics. Planned facilities include a large band room, a new Redskin stadium with artificial turf, a weight room featuring a rock-climbing wall, a wrestling suite, and a baseball/softball complex with turf fields, batting cages, concessions, and a food truck court.

Students will also benefit from new tennis courts, an agricultural center, a two-story learning commons/media center, a conference center, and a variety of STEM and CTAE lab spaces, all designed to support student learning experiences.

These features represent some of the highlights of the project and are not a complete list of all items that will be included.
