Dr. Eileen Emerson, MTSS Coordinator

Dr. Eileen Emerson presently serves as the BCS MTSS Coordinator for 3 elementary schools.  During her 23 year career in Bryan County, she has served as Principal of Lanier Primary School, and as Assistant Principal at both Richmond Hill Middle School and Richmond Hill Primary School.  Before transitioning into administration, Dr. Emerson taught 4th grade for 8 years at Dr. George Washington Carver Elementary School where she was named Teacher of the Year for 2008.   Dr. Emerson holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, a Master of Education from Cambridge College, and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum Studies from Georgia Southern University. Dr. Emerson is married with 2 grown children who both graduated from Bryan County Schools.  Dr. Emerson is honored to have the opportunity to serve the wonderful students, parents, and faculty of Bryan County.
