Bryan County Elementary Playground Expansion

The new Bryan County Elementary School playground will feature a fenced in area for the BEE childcare program which will include an age-appropriate play structure along with poured rubberized flooring for fall protection and a shade awning above.  A separate play area is being designed for pre-k – 5th grade.  It will feature a larger play structure featuring slides, climbing obstacles, and walkways.  This area will also feature a swing set and four seat spring rider.  A concrete pad will be poured so students can play four square as well as hop scotch.  At the rear of the area a kickball area will be established.  If students get hot and tired while on the playground, they can escape the heat by sitting under the nearby shade structure.

The overall scope of the project also includes storm drainage systems, sidewalk and curbing, and irrigation and grassing.
