Wildcat Pride: Teacher Edition

Richmond Hill High School loves to recognize the hard work of its teachers. Each week, a teacher is selected by their peers to win the weekly Wildcat Award! Each week's winner gets to proudly display "The Wildcat" in their classrooms.

This week's winner is Mr. Aycock! The teacher who nominated him had this to say: “I would like to pass on the Wildcat of the Week award to Mr. Aycock. Mr. Aycock has been a faithful substitute teacher at RHHS for many years. Teachers can rest assured that when they have to be away from their classroom, the students are in the best of hands with Mr. Aycock in the house! Mr. Aycock has been especially valuable as a long-term substitute for several of our teachers who have had extended absences. Each day he warmly greets teachers by name which is no small feat with the faculty as large as ours. He forms relationships with students and has a genuine interest in their pursuits. My daughter Meghan had Mr. Aycock as a long term sub when she was a freshman in 2017. Since then, he has often greeted me with  “Good Morning Ms. Krull.  How is Meghan doing? How is volleyball? And always, You have a great day”. For these reasons I graciously pass the Wildcat of the Week Award to Mr. Aycock.”

Thank you, Mr. Aycock, for being just another reason RHHS is a special place!

Go Wildcats!
