The Richmond Hill Historical Society has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Richmond Hill High School Senior Everett Wayman. This scholarship is in honor of Dr. Leslie and Lucy Long, founding members of the society, who left an endowment to the Richmond Hill Historical Society for education. Through this annual scholarship, a future generation can have a passion to educate and inspire others about the rich, long history of the Richmond Hill community.
