Congratulations to Emily Bruning on her commitment to Truett McConnell University! We are proud she will take her volleyball talents to the collegiate level as Emily enters TMU as an Early Education Major!
Emily is a three-year RHHS Varsity Volleyball letterman as a libero and defensive specialist. She was named to the 2018 6A Region 2 All Area second team. Her leadership and dedication on and off the court will be greatly missed. Best of luck, Emily. We know you’ll do us proud!
Words from Emily: First, I want to thank my parents for always believing in me, driving me to all my practices and going to all my games. I also want to thank my brother Mason and sister Mary Kate for coming to my games and supporting me. I want to thank Coach Orloff, Coach Matt, and Coach Alex and all my past high school and Club Savannah coaches for making me a better player and helping me through the recruiting process. I want to thank Mrs. Julie, Coach Brown, and Coach Lezotte for keeping me in shape during and after season. I want to thank my teammates for always pushing me to be a better person and player. Last but definitely not least, I want to thank all of my friends for always making me laugh and smile. I am very excited for my future at Truett McConnell University! GO TMU BEARS!
