Richmond Hill Middle School

The Imagineers had the privilege of participating in a video conference with Heather Montgomery, author of "Something Rotten: A Fresh Take on Roadkill", as an introduction to their upcoming Ecology and novel study unit. The students will be reading about Ms. Montgomery’s roadkill adventures, and will utilize the author’s experiences, to guide their research. The students have created an app, to collect data in the Richmond Hill area, with the goal of determining high frequency roadkill areas. They will use the obtained data, to formulate a plan, and assist in deterring animals for these hot spot areas.  #RHMSSTEMCATS   #WildcatStem  #WeAreRHMS
