The Bryan County School District is self-insured for its Workers’ Compensation benefits. All medical, surgical and disability costs are paid directly by the School District. Workers’ Compensation is for employees who have job-related injuries.
A safe working environment is a high priority for the Bryan County School District. However, should you become injured or ill, as a result of your job, we want to ensure you receive prompt, quality medical treatment.
All reports and claims for Workers’ Compensation go through the Benefits Office. However, if an employee is going to be or has been out more than three days, the employee must also complete the Request for Family Medical Leave packet. Family Medical Leave and Workers’ Compensation Leave will run concurrent.
