The Media Center is a great place
to find interesting books. The students at Lanier Primary enjoy
visiting the Media Center to check out books, watch the fish, search the book
fairs, and listen to
stories read by our Media Specialist.
Accelerated Reader
Students at Lanier Primary have been
very successful in reading Accelerated Reader (AR)
books and passing the tests on these books. The students earned prizes
based on the number of
AR tests they passed at 80% or better. The rewards were given out at the
end of the each nine
weeks. Some of the prizes that can be earned can be seen in the display
case in the front hall of the school.

Labels for Education
LPS collects Labels for
Education products (includes Campbell's, Swanson, and El Paso),
and Boxtops for Education (includes General Mills, Ziploc bags,
Kleenex, and Huggies).
All of these labels or boxtops should include the UPC code. These labels
and boxtops are redeemed for money
used to purchase items for our school. We also collect the pop tops from
aluminum soda cans to donate
to the Ronald McDonald House.
