Yikes! McAllister After School students learn all about snakes
Mark Griffin

Gail Westcott with the Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center recently paid a visit to ASP students at the McAllister After School location. Students learned how all snakes are not dangerous and how they fulfill a vital role in the ecology of southeast Georgia. ASP students are looking forward to Westcott's return visit when she will talk about the different kinds of trees and plants that make up the ecological environment in Bryan County.
