PROM 2018 INFORMATION
Friday, March 23, 2018 ~ 8:00-11:30 p.m.
Savannah International Trade & Convention Center
1 International Dr, Savannah, GA 31421 (on Hutchinson Island, across from River St.)
The RHHS Prom Committee is excited and ready to make this year’s prom the best ever! By following all guidelines listed below, we are asking for your help in making Prom 2018 safe and secure for everyone on that special evening.
* Many people have asked why prom is on a Friday night this year. Mrs. Thompson, Prom Advisor, worked with Ms. McNeal and the Trade Center to find a date that worked with the school calendar and Spring Break. The Trade Center is the only event facility in Savannah that can hold the amount of students and chaperones that we have attend prom. This date was chosen right after our successful prom last year, and this was the only date that the Trade Center could accommodate our prom with our school calendar. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Thompson (912) 459-5037.
ATTENDANCE DAY OF PROM:
If a student has no absences and no tardies from March 1 - March 22, they may take an unexcused full day absence on the day of prom. Students need to take into consideration how an unexcused absence may affect their Wildcat Pride or Exam Exemption status.
If a student that wishes to attend prom has one or more absences and/or one or more tardies from March 1 - March 22, then then you must be present for half day at school on March 23 in order to attend prom that evening.
Dues will be collected through MyPayments+ between August 25, 2017 and December 1, 2017. If a student misses the December 1, 2017 deadline, there will be a $5 late fee. The final date to pay dues in order to get a prom ticket is Friday, February 23, 2018. When a Junior or Senior student pays dues on time, that money pays for his/her ticket only. All guests must have a ticket purchased by the RHHS Junior or Senior.
Dues information can be found here (RHHS> Students&Parents> Forms&Payments> Class Dues) on the school website.

For students who pay dues on or before the deadline, guest tickets will be $50 and will be sold from Monday, March 5- Friday, March 9. No tickets will be sold after that Friday.
If a Junior or Senior did not pay dues before February 23, 2018 and still wishes to attend Prom, he/she can pay $125 per ticket (student and guest ticket) when they go on sale.
If a Junior or Senior purchases a ticket for Prom after the dues deadline, that money is for the ticket only. That student will still have to pay the correct dues amount before graduating.
If a student is on the Obligation’s List at the time of ticket sales and/or date of prom, he/she will not be able to attend prom.
You will be asked to register your guest before you pick up prom tickets.

Anyone not registered will not be allowed into prom for any reason.
We will notify you prior to prom if your date will not be allowed to attend.
